LOVE LIFE AND LIVE IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT!
“ He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.” Psalms 121:3 KJV
Stability is a hallmark of maturity. Impulse is the expression of immaturity. How one conducts their life is a direct reflection of their level of growth. One thing that brings a Christian into a mature state of mind which expresses itself in stability is an unyielding faith in God.
One who is in a relationship with God doesn’t have to fear the trials and travesties of life. That one has a firm and fixated faith in He who never sleeps or slumbers. We have a divine guardian whom is ever present to preserve us and will not allow our feet to be moved from the pathway of righteousness when our whole heart trusts totally in Him.
Brethren, may I ask what in your life are you allowing to divert you? In other words what do you fear more than he who created, fashioned, and molded you into the new creature you are through the redeeming power of the Blood and empowering of the Holy Ghost? Our resources are from above, therefore we should be looking up to where our help comes from. Why then do so many abandon the source of eternal strength when trying times comes? We should always remember that weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. A life lived in the presence of God and for the purposes of God is a life well lived.
“The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.”
“The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
Psalms 121:7-8 KJV
I’ve said it before and it bears saying again; there are three forces which are opposing us, the devil, the world, and our flesh. We can allow ourselves to be deposed by these enemies of life, or we can trust The Lord to preserve us. We that know Christ have an opportunity to live a great life having full assurance in the outcome of our lives; hence knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, what then shall we be afraid.
Don’t allow the enemy to cause you to shrink back or be dispossessed of anything the Lord has invested, imparted, and infused into you. We are more than conquers through Christ Jesus who loves us and gave himself for us so that we could be saved, sanctified, justified, and empowered to live our lives in accordance with his word and will.
When we received the Lord, he becomes our security, he guides us on the path of righteousness for his namesake, he makes us to lie beside still waters, he prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies, he leads into green and grassy pastures, he anoints our heads with oil and he refreshes our souls, and even though we may pass through the valleys wherein lies enemies of our demise we do not have to fear any evil for his rod and his staff are in his hand to defend us and defeat them. I am the Lord’s whom shall I fear, what can man do to me that God cannot do more, whom shall I fear, the temporary pains of man, or the eternal punishment of my sins of disobedience to God. I will fear no evil for He is with me, He is beside me, and He is in me.
“ My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:2 KJV
Brethren, keep the faith today by living this life of faith like you mean it. There is no weapon that is formed against you which can take away your love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, kindness, faith, meekness, or temperance unless you allow it too.
For if you are firmly founded in Christ Jesus, filled with his Spirit, and Purposed to do his Will, you may be tried in the fires of affliction, but you shall come forth out of those fire as pure gold; Selah!
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
