I love this Youtube channel. It's not a Christian Youtube channel per say, yet the creator is Christian.
He has a great way of delving into some very serious topics, but adds humor and cuteness to the mix, with his little fish named HeckleFish.
I hope you enjoy these videos as much as I do.
The 1st video is about "The Carrington event." Have you heard of this? I will let him explain what it is. He can do it much better than I can.
This isn't meant to scare you, or spread doom and gloom. Our hope and refuge is ALWAYS in Jesus. No matter what ever happens, never forget that.
This is a real threat and something that EVERYONE needs to be aware of.
Living on the Gulf Coast, I grew up and into my adult years, stockpiled provisions. It's a common thing to do in the deep south for very good reasons such as the common threat of hurricanes.
There are other threats that could warrant the need of socks of survival gear. The Carrington even is one such threat.
It might not ever happen but it would be better to have supplies on hand and not need them than to need them and not have them.
If you don't stock up on essentials such as food and water, water purification tools, etc., you need to.
Just a side note; Did you know that if there was an event in which we were left without power for and extended amount of time, the water processing plant that handle our septic waste, would be forced to dump the contaminated water into places such as rivers so don't plan on relying on your river for a clean water source. You need a way of cleaning your water, (besides just boiling it) be warned.
"For wastewater utilities, pump failure may lead to direct discharge of untreated sewage to rivers and streams or sewage backup into homes and businesses. Power loss can also impact water utilities through cascading infrastructure failures. For example, a chemical plant without power could discharge contaminants into source water supplies." www.epa.gov/sites/default/files/2016-03/documents/160212-powerresilienceguide508.pdf#:~:text=For%20wastewater%20utilities%2C%20pump%20failure%20may%20lead%20to,power%20could%20discharge%20contaminants%20into%20source%20water%20supplies.
Unless you want to be drinking sewage water (boiling it wouldn't keep you from being sick, because it wouldn't remove toxins), get a water purification system.
This all being said, enjoy the video.
BTW the recent weird aroura activity in the deep south is caused by the recent uptick in solar activity.
